What I like best about Junko's classes is that she teaches techniques in a clear and inspiring manner. It has been helpful to me to learn just how easy it is to make one's own dashi instead of using soup granules, and the dumplings in the soup were a delicious revelation. After several classes, I am feeling much more comfortable when I approach Japanese cuisine.

Junko and her team provided us with a very enjoyable hour packed with activities, both cooking and cultural. The hand roll sushi class has many options for ingredients and after the class we are inspired to have friends over for a sushi party. Anyone will enjoy the party including vegetarians and those who don't eat raw fish. There is something for every taste. Mary and Tom
Really enjoyed the visit to the bakery. Always a pleasure to see Tokyo neighborhoods and architecture. Lesson very well organized, easy to follow. All ingredients and each step of the lesson were clearly in view. Instructor checked often for our understanding. Best of all was that the final product was DELICIOUS.
