Butter Chicken originated in Delhi, the capital of India in 1950. Commonly known as "Murgh Makhani". Butter chicken was traditionally cooked in clay pots and tandoor with mix spices, Makhan(butter) and fresh cream. Time and experiment have inspired many simplified versions of the recipe. For over 70 years, Butter chicken has been a staple of Indian restaurants around the world.
