This policy explains what information BiteUnite (BiteUnite Cloud Corp and BiteUnite USA LLC, "we") collects when you visit biteunite.com, book an experience, or contact us by chat, email or WhatsApp, and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
- Booking details: the classes or events you book, dates, group size, dietary or allergy notes you share, and gift card details.
- Messages: what you send us through website chat, email and WhatsApp, and our replies.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Basic technical data: pages visited, browser type and approximate location, collected by our website tools.
2. How we use it
- To run your booking: confirmations, reminders, changes and refunds.
- To answer your questions on chat, email and WhatsApp.
- To keep you safe at events (for example allergy information).
- To improve our classes and website.
- To send marketing only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
3. AI-assisted replies
Some replies on chat, email and WhatsApp are drafted by an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude) using our live class information. You can ask for a person at any time, and a BiteUnite host will reply.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run BiteUnite, such as:
- Stripe (payments)
- Twilio SendGrid (email)
- Meta / WhatsApp (WhatsApp messages)
- Anthropic (AI-assisted replies)
- Bubble, Webflow and Cloudflare (website and hosting)
- Booking partners, venues and chefs, only as needed to deliver your experience
We may also share information if required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep booking and message records as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize them.
6. Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
- Stop WhatsApp messages by replying STOP or telling us.
Depending on where you live (for example California or Hong Kong), you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email info@biteunite.com.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
8. Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
