Gyoza (Japanese Dumplings) ~40 pieces (4 pp)
Ingredients
40 gyoza wrappers
1 lb ground pork
1 cup napa cabbage (finely chopped, salted & squeezed dry)
3 green onions or chives (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp ginger (minced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp sake (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
Mix all filling ingredients.
Place ~1 tbsp filling in each wrapper, fold and pleat.
Pan-fry in oil until bottoms are golden.
Add ¼ cup water, cover, steam 5–6 min.
