1. Theo’s Cozy Corner

Theo’s Cozy Corner, or “the Cozy Corner restaurant” as it’s sometimes called, is located, as you’d expect, on a street corner. More specifically, it’s on the corner of Sheafe Street and Salem Street, about a one-minute walk from the Old North Church.

Theo’s serves up some amazing Brazilian food as well as traditional American breakfast fare like corn beef hash. Check out Theo’s Cozy Corner on Yelp!

2. The Friendly Toast

Looking for Eggs Benedict that’s wicked good any time of day? Try the 50s-themed restaurant The Friendly Toast! At this well-known Back Bay establishment, they make their hollandaise sauce from scratch along with their bread and many other menu items.

The Friendly Toast also offers a maximalist decor aesthetic that makes for a fun time, especially if dining out with friends or family.

3. North Street Grille

Robin Slidell opened the North Street Grille back in 2004 with the goal of creating an environment that said “Welcome Home”. Since then, this comfortable establishment has been serving up delectable breakfast dishes four days a week (Thursday through Sunday). If its website URL is anything to go by, it boasts the “best Brunch in Boston”!

Whether you go for the Banana Bourbon french toast or the Burrito Pancakes, you won’t be disappointed by this restaurant's mix of new twists on traditional recipes and staple foods alike!

4. South Street Diner

In the mood for somewhere with a great breakfast menu that’s also got personality and retro appeal? Try the South Street Diner, which features a giant cup of coffee perched prominently on its roof!

This spot traces its roots back to the 1940s! What’s more, if you’ve managed to pull an all-nighter, this is the place to go, as it’s open all night long!

5. The Paramount

With locations in Beacon Hill and South Boston, this staple has been around since the late 1930s, making it undeniably one of the best breakfast spots in downtown Boston. You’ll find newer favorites like Avocado toast and even Nutella Waffles on the menu, sure. But you’ll also find more classic items in the mix.

As The Paramount’s Beacon Hill site says, “We take pride in preparing everything from scratch”!
